Nalini Venkatasubramanian is a Professor in the School of Information and Computer Sciences at the University of California, Irvine. With extensive academic and industry experience, she leads research on distributed systems, cyber-physical infrastructure, and adaptive technologies that enhance resilience and scalability.

As the Co-Director of UC Irvine’s Center for Emergency Response Technologies, Nalini focuses on dynamic systems that support situational awareness and information flow during large-scale disruptions, advancing innovations across smart and connected communities.
