Stephen Bourne is the Project Director and the Fellow at AtkinsRéalis North America, one of the world’s leading design, engineering, and project management consultancies. He is known for turning innovative research into practical digital tools that enhance collaborative planning and resilience.

Stephen created and leads AtkinsRéalis’ SIMULATOR software, helping clients assess and strengthen resilience using digital twin technology. His work supports cities, seaports, and airports in preparing for extreme events and developing strategies for a sustainable and adaptable future.
